1. What are the methods of payment?

Currently, French My World accepts payments from some major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. French My World also uses paypal as a method of payment.

2. What are the shipping methods available?

French My World currently proposes you three methods of shipping. All shipping prices can be calculated beforehand using our “Shipping Estimator Tool” located under the “Shipping” tab at the top of the website. Using this tool, you are able to calculate a shipping price for an order. First, choose your destination country, followed by an estimated package weight (all items in our catalogue are specifically marked with weight in grams and in ounces for this purpose). Once this information is complete, you have three methods of shipping: Paquet Economy World, Paquet Priority World Tracking and Colissimo. Select one (or all three) to view the price displayed in blue and a description of each service. If no price is displayed, that shipping option is not available (either depending on the weight of your order or your destination). Remember, this is just a tool to estimate your total it is not an actual calculator for shipping.

3. When will my order arrive?

Once an order is placed, French My World will begin preparing your items for shipment. Orders are usually sent out for shipping within 1 to 2 business days after receiving cleared payment. Depending on your choice for shipping, your order may or may not include tracking (Paquet Economy World does not provide tracking or signature but does provide proof of deposit which French My World will have on record). Typically, orders from France to international destinations vary from 5-21 business days using International Mail. Customers that choose Colissimo as their method of shipping usually receive their order between 4-8 business days. Deliveries outside of Europe may be delayed due to customs clearance and/or inspection of your package. Countries such as Brazil, India and Russia have higher clearance times at their respective customs border control. As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding shipping delays. We will also contact you directly should any problem arise during the shipping process. Please be sure to check your email for any notifications.

4. What about custom duties?

Prices listed on our website do not include customs duty or taxes applied to the destination country. Purchases that are made from outside the EU zone are sold without VAT tax. In the rare case where are additional duties or taxes are applied, the customer must take them in charge. French My World is not responsible nor can say if duties will be applied to your order. Refusing to pay duty on an order does not grant an acceptable reason for return or refund for the order.

5. What about the Expiration of products?

All products will have at a minimum 60 days before expiration. When you receive your order, it is important to please remember in Europe we use the date format dd/mm/yyyy. This can sometimes be confusing for countries which use mm/dd/yyyy as their format. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the expiration of products.

8. Chocolate and summer heat, what do you propose?

At French My World, we are committed to providing the best quality of service. We try to avoid shipping chocolate during the hottest months to avoid damage to the product. Before placing an order for chocolates, please take into consideration your region’s weather patterns. We regret to inform but French My World cannot be held responsible for melted chocolate.
